The Task
Design a unique greeting card, mug or frame with the theme:
“Home for Christmas”
This year, we’re inviting designers, illustrators, and creatives to capture the magic of going home for the holidays in Nigeria. From crowded buses and village trips, to family feasts, Christmas clothes, church services, fireworks, or just the warmth of being with loved ones — we want to see your version of “Home for Christmas.”
The Rules
All entries must be original in nature and created by the entrant. Work with any copyright infringements will not be eligible.
Designs must be submitted in digital format, either as a PDF or PNG file.
If you decide to scan any hand-drawn elements of your design, we ask that you upload them with the highest resolution possible, with minimal empty space surrounding the image. This is because scanned images will be printed exactly as submitted.
All designs must be created in NJP’s standard 5x7in card size and all designs must be of ready to print quality (300dpi)
This competition is only open to Nigerians aged 18 and above.

The designs will be judged based on three criteria: creativity and originality, overall presentation, and relation to the theme.
The top 3 winning entries will be part of the Not Just Pulp 2025 Christmas greeting card collection, and the winners will join the Not Just Pulp Creator Platform*. This means, they will earn a commission on each sale of their designs on notjustpulp.com.
*Designers are welcome to opt out of this Creator Platform offer.

The design you create should carry your unique signature - your personality! We want to see what makes you, well, YOU! Generic designs won’t cut it this time! Also please make sure all assets used are either yours, free or free for commercial use as the winning designs will be sold on Not Just Pulp’s website.

It all begins with an idea. Find the idea then let your imagination run wild! Think of all the fondest memories of your favourite things about christmas in Nigeria. Whether your creating an illustration, or having fun with amazing typefaces, don’t forget to just HAVE FUN!
